The Glashutte Original Senator Navigator Perpetual Calendar watch features a robust 44mm case in finely brushed stainless steel; the strong impression of a precision aeronautical instrument is strengthened by an efficient matte black dial with extensive luminous indications on the hours, minute track, and blued steel hands. Even in total darkness, legibility is never diminished. The lower hemisphere of the dial features the rotating moon phase indicator and panorama large date display, while the upper portion presents day and month in windows. Directly above the hour and minute hands is a new pointer-type leap year indicator, which diverges from the window leap year display that graces other Glashutte Original models, for example, the Senator Perpetual Calendar watch.
 
Animating the Glashutte Original Senator Navigator Perpetual Calendar is the self-winding Caliber 100-07. Manufactured by Glashutte Original, the Caliber 100-07 is with 55 hours’ power reserve and a unique seconds reset function which is not linked to the crown or winding stem, but instead operates via a button located on the case at the 8 o'clock position. This watch enables the user to instantly synchronize the watch to another timepiece, or a time signal. Fine elements of traditional Glashutte decoration include a swan-neck fine adjustment with a hand beveling, and bridges and rotor with Glashutte ribbing. A 21-karat gold peripheral segment increases the inertia of the rotor, improving winding efficiency.
